Adam was stolen away from our family by meningitis - over just a few hours - when he was 17 years old.
He was a larger than life, bright, funny, contrary, opinionated, kind and sporty young man - and it still seems impossible and cruel that he didn't get to live his best life.
This year, it is 17 years since we lost him - and I am walking the Severn Way - the UKs longest river route - in his memory and to raise funds for Meningitis Now. Adam had just 210 months - so I am walking 210 miles over seven days in June - and hope to raise £10 for every month./mile.
Meningitis Now provide wonderful support to people affected by meningitis and drive research and awareness nationally. All of the donations will go to support their work.
If you can make any donation - however small - it is much appreciated. In any event, please arm yourself with knowledge about meningitis so you can act quickly if anyone you love is affected.
Thank you!
