On 16th June I will set off from Kemble to walk the entire Thames Path from it's source in a meadow in Gloucestershire to the Thames Barrier in London.
I am walking in memory of Adam - our glorious boy - who was stolen from us by meningitis ten years ago this October. Adam was brim full of mischief and joy and it will always be wrong that he is not with us. I hope that by supporting Meningitis Now we can raise awareness about how swift and terrible meningitis can be and help to save more people from this sadness.
The walk is 184 miles - appropriate as Adam's birthday is 18/4 - and in keeping with that theme, I hope to raise £1840 for Meningitis Now to support their work. It normally takes about 15 days to do the walk - so I am aiming to do it in 6 days so that I have to work really hard for your money!! Please donate any small amount that you can - every little really does help - and share my link with anyone who might join in!
More importantly, please learn the signs of meningitis, share the signs with young people especially - and trust your instincts if you are unsure. The link to the symptoms is here:

Thanks in advance for your help and support.
